You were walking through the hallways of Touou high school. No - you were actually running. And crying. But why?

~ Flashback to about three hours ago ~

"Aomine-kun, are you alright?" you ask worriedly. He's been acting strangely these past few days, ignoring you, and all that.

"Yes I am now go away (F/n)," he rudely shot back. Wow, talk about mean. You decided not to push any further, and that you'd confront him later.

~ 3 hours later, to a few minutes before you started running... ~

"Aomine-kun..why have you been ignoring me?"

"That's none of your business, (f/n)," he replied.

"Of course it is! It's worrying me a lot, and we're supposed to be good friends, right?" he cringed at the word, 'friends'.

"Listen here, (f/n). I hate you. You're always on my mind, and distracting me. Only I can beat myself. But you're in the way..."

Your eyes widened as your heard him. You couldn't take it anymore so you ran off.

"Wait! I'm not finished yet!" he yelled. You guessed what he'd say next. Probably something that'll depress you even further.

~ Back to the present ~

You ran up to the roof, sweating and gasping for air. Momoi had yelled at you and told you to slow down and stop, but you'd ignored her and ran off again.

As soon as you thought you found some peace the door to the roof burst open. It was Aomine. He swore under his breath.

'Damn, how do I get outta this one?' you thought.

"Oi, (f/n)-chan," he called out to you. (F/n)-chan? Why add the '-chan' right now? He said he hated you. Refusing to look up at him, you fiddled with the edge of your dark blue skirt. Your (f/c) bracelet was shining in the sunlight.

It was the bracelet Aomine had given to you on your birthday. It had (insert name of your birthstone)s on it. And the stones were in a beautiful (f/c).

"You didn't let me finish, stupid!" he put his hands on his knees, and was desperately trying to breath for air.

"I love you, baka!" you both said at the same time. You stared at him, and he stared back. Dark blue orbs boring into (e/c) ones.

Had he just..confessed to you? And you just blurted out your confession as well. You stood there blushing. What were you supposed to say next?

"It's been happening for days now. You won't get out of my mind, and it's driving me crazy! I see you everywhere. I don't know why I didn't realize it earlier, but now I do. The way you smile, the way you care about me, everything! The only one who can beat me is me, yet, you've beat me to my heart, damn it."

He took a few steps closer to you until he was right in front of you.

"Tch. (F/n), be my girlfriend...please," Aomine demanded as he blushed a bit.

"I-I...I will!" you hugged him, and never let him go until the bell for class rang. "We should get going to class now..." you said, but he grabbed your hand and pulled you down.

Now you were both lying down on the roof top. "No, let's stay like this for a few minutes, okay?" He pulled you closer and wrapped his arms around your waist.

Before you knew it, his lips were on yours. Closing your eyes, you smiled into the kiss.

"Aomine-kun...I love you."

"I love you too, (F/n). But don't expect me to say this ever again."

You giggled, "Okay."

~ Aomine's P.O.V. ~

She is the one.

I should've noticed earlier.

The only one who can beat me is me, yet, she beat me to my heart.

So I guess...there is another person who can beat me.

And that person is (F/n) (L/n).
